South Korean golf brand Volvik, led by CEO Jang Seok-heon, announced Tuesday the launch of three premium park golf clubs under the LS Series — the LS-03, LS-05 and LS-07 — in line with the sport's growing popularity as a mainstream recreational activity.
All three models have received certification from the Korea Park Golf Association. Each comes standard with a Mitsubishi 100 percent full-carbon shaft, designed to minimize twisting during the swing and deliver a stable stroke feel.
The top-of-the-line LS-07 features "Dual Wood Technology," which bonds two different types of natural hardwood. The mid-range LS-05, aimed at intermediate players, uses a maple head fitted with a high-density brass weight to boost the moment of inertia for greater stability. The entry-level LS-03 is built around a lightweight 525-gram design with a low-center-of-gravity brass sole, making it easier to get the ball airborne.
Alongside the product launch, Volvik will host the Volvik Park Golf Championship to help expand the sport's reach nationwide. Qualifying rounds begin in September, with the final set for Oct. 19, making it the largest park golf tournament in the country.
