Daegu Technopark announced Monday it will reopen its search for a 12th president after an initial recruitment process failed to produce a qualified candidate, with applications accepted through Aug. 31.

The president serves as the legal representative of the organization, overseeing all directors of directly affiliated departments and their staff, and bears final responsibility for all projects carried out by the institution.

The term of office is two years from the date of appointment.
