The Ulju-gun para dance sports team (director Seo Sang-cheol) won four gold medals and one silver medal at the 2026 Ulsan Mayor Cup National Para Dance Sports Championships, held Sunday at the Onsan Culture and Sports Center in Ulju-gun, Ulsan, with a composed performance built on strong teamwork.

The result followed the team's sweep of four titles at the inaugural Busan Mayor Cup National Para Dance Sports Championships on Aug. 2, marking back-to-back strong showings.

Competing against more than 200 athletes from 10 cities and provinces nationwide, the Ulju-gun squad claimed gold in four events: duo standard five-discipline Class 1 (Lee Young-ho and Jang Hye-jeong), combi Latin five-discipline Class 1 (Lee Young-ho and Park Ye-ji), combi standard five-discipline Class 1 (Bae Jeong-bu and Jang Hye-jeong), and combi standard slow foxtrot Class 2 (Lee Dong-jin and Hwang Ju-hui). The pair of Lee Dong-jin and Hwang Ju-hui also took silver in the combi Latin five-discipline Class 2 event.
