The Korean Sport & Olympic Committee held its second PR and Media Committee meeting Friday at the organization's main conference room on the 13th floor of Olympic Hall in Seoul, the committee announced Monday.
The PR and Media Committee is one of the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee's advisory bodies, providing guidance on promoting the organization's key policies and projects, publicizing domestic and international multi-sport events, and developing promotional strategies to encourage participation in recreational sports.
About 20 people attended the meeting, including newly appointed committee chair Jo Seok-hwan, 17 committee members, the public relations director serving as secretary, and working-level staff.
The agenda covered the formal appointment report for the PR and Media Committee chair, the 2026 promotional project plan, and the publicity strategy for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.
"We will develop diverse promotional strategies to effectively convey the challenges and inspiring moments of the Korean national team at major events, including the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, and strengthen our role as a communication channel connecting athletes and the public," committee chair Jo said.
