MG+ Travelogue Hana Card [Hana Card]

Hana Card announced Monday that it has launched the "MG+ Travelogue Hana Card" in partnership with MG Community Credit Federations.

The card is a premium lifestyle product designed to cover both everyday fixed expenses and overseas travel benefits in a single card.

For domestic transactions, the card offers a 10% billing discount across seven major spending categories: utility bills (apartment maintenance fees, electricity and gas charges), video streaming services (Netflix, Disney+, Wavve, Tving and YouTube Premium), digital memberships (Coupang Inc Wow, Naver Plus, Kurly, Baemin Club and Yogipass), music streaming (Melon, Genie, FLO and Spotify), webtoons and e-books (Naver Webtoon, Kakao Page and Millie's Library), rental services (Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, Coway, Cuckoo, Bodyfriend, Kyowon Wells and Ceragem), and home care services (Cleaning Lab and Laundry Special Forces). A monthly integrated discount cap of 20,000 won ($14) applies when the previous month's spending reaches 500,000 won, rising to 40,000 won for spending of 1 million won or more.

For overseas use, the card lets customers freely switch between prepaid "foreign currency Hana Money payments" and standard credit payments with a single card. When the default foreign currency Hana Money payment mode is active, all overseas merchant fees — including a 0.2% overseas service fee and a 1.1% international brand fee — as well as overseas ATM withdrawal fees of $3 per transaction plus a 1.1% international brand fee are fully waived, significantly reducing the burden on international travelers.

Applicants must hold an MG Community Credit Federations deposit account. The annual fee is 20,000 won for the domestic and international combined version (Mastercard).

"This new product is distinguished by combining a 10% everyday billing discount that customers can feel directly in an era of high prices with the powerful Travelogue benefit of waived overseas transaction fees," a Hana Card official said. "We plan to continue introducing tailored products that maximize customer benefits."
