Lee Jin-kyung won the sixth major of the 2026 Lotte Rentacar WG Tour, claiming her third victory of the season with a purse of 120 million won ($84,600).
Golfzon (CEO Park Kang-su) announced Monday that Lee won the tournament, held Sunday at Golfzon Joimaru in Daejeon, with a total score of 17 under par — a 9-under-par first round followed by an 8-under-par second round.
Lee stumbled early in the first round but surged through the back nine to enter the final round tied for the lead. Combining composure and precise shot-making, she carded eight birdies without a bogey in the final round to finish at 17 under par — her third win of the season and fifth career victory on the WG Tour. She also swept both the third and sixth major events this season, cementing her status as one of the tour's dominant players.
Kim A-romi, who also entered the final round tied for the lead, impressed the gallery despite it being only her third screen-golf tournament appearance. A bogey on the final hole dropped her one stroke, but she finished in sole fifth place. Kim Yeong-yun 2 finished in a three-way tie for second alongside Choi Sa-rang 2 and Han Ji-min.
"I think practice is the secret, and going all-in on practice is why this season has been going so well," Lee said after her victory. "I'll keep working hard with the goal of winning in the remaining tournaments."
