NH NongHyup Card announced Monday the launch of "The Origins," a VVIP-exclusive credit card tailored to the lifestyles of high-net-worth individuals. The card sits at the top of NH NongHyup Card's premium lineup and targets VVIP customers seeking high-end benefits and differentiated service.

Cardholders who meet the minimum monthly spending requirement of 500,000 won ($352) earn 1 percent back in NH Points on all domestic purchases and 2 percent on overseas purchases, with no cap on accumulation.

The card also supports premium travel and transportation. It provides up to four free premium designated-driver rides per day — up to 10 per year — and access to domestic and international airport lounges up to four times per day, or 20 times per year, with a companion. Cardholders at Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 can also make advance room reservations at the Matina Gold Lounge and enjoy a chef's special menu. Both benefits require the monthly spending threshold to be met.

The card comes with 19 luxury vouchers annually across five categories, covering stays and access at domestic luxury hotels as well as premium golf special packages.

Cardholders can also choose one option per year from a selection that includes reservations at Michelin-starred and fine-dining restaurants, premium spa services, and a classical performance membership. In the first year, the benefit can be activated immediately after paying the annual fee. From the second year onward, it requires combined spending of 20 million won or more across the previous and current year.

The Origins is the first card in South Korea to carry Mastercard World Elite status — the highest tier offered by Mastercard — giving holders around-the-clock access to Mastercard Concierge services anywhere in the world, as well as airport and hotel valet parking. Additional exclusive benefits curated by NH NongHyup Card are available when the monthly spending requirement is met.

"The Origins card is more than a payment tool — it will be a symbol of our customers' values and pride," an NH NongHyup Card official said. "We will continue to offer differentiated benefits and refined services befitting the discerning tastes of South Korea's top VVIP customers."

The annual fee for The Origins is 3 million won. The card is available only to top-tier customers of NongHyup Bank and agricultural and livestock cooperatives, or to existing NH NongHyup Card VIP customers. New applicants must apply at a branch, after which headquarters reviews the application before granting approval.

Further details on card applications and services are available through the NH Pay app and the NH NongHyup Card official website.
