Actor Han Jung-su has publicly voiced support for fellow actor Hwang Jung-min, who is facing privacy-related allegations.

Han took to social media Saturday to write: "This is a completely unfair game. Right now, the only one taking 100 percent of the damage is sunbae Hwang Jung-min. If you have nothing to hide, I hope the person making the accusations stops hiding behind anonymity and comes forward with their identity fully disclosed."

He added, "This is how it goes in most cases. In the end, even when a verdict comes out, the only one who suffers is the person whose face is known to the public. It's so unfair and infuriating."

He then said, "Celebrities are easy targets."

Hwang has recently been embroiled in a privacy dispute involving a woman. The woman claims she was in a romantic relationship with Hwang, while Hwang maintains he was a victim of stalking.

After the woman began making a series of public accusations against Hwang late last month, Hwang's representatives said: "She is a suspect in a stalking crime who persistently harassed him. Hwang filed a criminal complaint against her, and the court imposed provisional measures — including a restraining order — against the suspect on three separate occasions. The court subsequently issued a summary order imposing a fine of 3 million won ($2,110) after recognizing the stalking charges."

However, the woman contested the summary order and requested a formal trial. The Goyang Branch of the Uijeongbu District Court is set to hold a closing hearing on charges including violation of the Stalking Punishment Act on Tuesday.
