Former professional gamer and broadcaster Hong Jin-ho has spoken about his recent weight gain and a surgical procedure.

Appearing on JTBC's "Knowing Bros," which aired Saturday, Hong attributed his noticeably fuller appearance to stress eating. "I tend to eat when I'm stressed, so I ended up snacking a lot on chips during a survival show's group retreat," he said.

He also addressed the change in his eyes, revealing he had undergone a second operation for ptosis. "At some point the asymmetry got quite bad, so I had ptosis surgery the year before last, but the results weren't good — so I had another procedure done this year," he explained.

Hong had also spoken about his weight on Sunday, appearing in a preview for SBS's "Running Man." He said he had lost weight using an obesity medication but put it all back on after stopping the drug.

Hong married a non-celebrity 10 years his junior in March 2024 and welcomed his first child, a daughter, later that year.
