Ahn Byeong-hun moved up to tied sixth place after the third round of LIV Golf New York, which carries a $30 million purse.

Playing Sunday at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in Bedminster, New Jersey — a par-71 layout — Ahn carded four birdies and one bogey for a 3-under-par 68, bringing his 54-hole total to 5-under 208. He shares sixth place with Thomas Pieters of Belgium and Richard Bland of England.

The result puts Ahn, captain of Crushers GC, within reach of the best finish of his LIV Golf career. His only top-10 this season had been a tied ninth at the season opener.

Song Young-han also shot a 3-under 68 — four birdies, one bogey — to sit at 3-under 210, tied 10th alongside Lucas Herbert of Australia and Paul Casey of England. Kim Min-gyu and Moon Do-yeop are tied 45th at 10-over par, along with Anthony Kim of the United States.

Joaquin Niemann of Chile leads at 14-under 199 despite a double bogey on the opening hole that limited him to a 1-under round, holding a two-stroke advantage over Harold Varner III of the United States, who fired a 6-under 65 on Sunday. Niemann, who has led for all three rounds, is chasing his second win of the season after claiming the LIV Golf Korea title in May.
