Kim Ju-hyung was undone by a treacherous downhill green on the second day of the Wyndham Championship ($8.5 million purse) on the PGA Tour.

Kim, ranked 34th in the FedEx Cup standings, carded a 3-under-par 67 on Saturday at Sedgefield Country Club (par 70) in Greensboro, North Carolina, collecting five birdies but surrendering strokes with a double bogey.

At the halfway mark, Kim sits at 8-under-par 132, slipping from a share of 11th to a share of 14th after Friday's round. He trails leader Beau Hossler of the United States by four shots — Hossler posted 12-under-par 128 over two rounds.

Kim had surged toward the top of the leaderboard by picking up four strokes through the 10th hole. Trouble arrived at the 12th, a 223-yard par-3. His tee shot landed on the green left of the pin, but the ball rolled down the slope and off the putting surface.

His approach from about 20 meters out ran back down the same slope, and his third shot returned to nearly the same spot. Kim finally got the ball onto the green with his fourth stroke and sank a 1.5-meter putt, but the hole still cost him two shots.

He bounced back with a birdie on the par-4 13th but could not add any further strokes, closing out his second round on a frustrating note.

Im Sung-jae, ranked 57th in the FedEx Cup standings, fired five birdies against three bogeys for a 2-under round, moving to 5-under-par 135 and a share of 38th place.

When the Wyndham Championship — the final event of the 2026 PGA Tour regular season — concludes, the top 70 players in the FedEx Cup standings will advance to the St. Jude Championship, the first leg of the playoffs.
