Lee Kang-in, who recently joined Spanish football powerhouse Atletico Madrid, treated the club's squad visiting Seoul to a traditional Korean meal.

Atletico said on its official website Saturday that "on the second day of our Seoul training camp, everyone in attendance enjoyed traditional Korean cuisine — a meaningful gathering organized by Lee Kang-in, the host of this visit."

Lee personally arranged the dinner at a Korean barbecue restaurant.

Spanish sports outlet Marca reported that Lee "captivated everyone not only with his footballing talent but also with his character and dedication," adding that he invited all roughly 80 people — players, support staff and club executives alike — to share Korean food and create lasting memories together.

Lee transferred to Atletico last month from French club Paris Saint-Germain and joined the squad, which arrived in Seoul on Thursday, after preparing physically in Korea. He welcomed his new teammates with a group dinner on the evening of their first joint training session.

The club said Lee hosted about 80 people in total for the dinner, inviting every member of the delegation staying in Seoul — players, coaching staff and support personnel — to enjoy a variety of hansik dishes together.

Lee is expected to make his Atletico Madrid debut Sunday evening at Seoul World Cup Stadium, where the club faces Manchester City in a 2026 Coupang Play Series friendly at 8 p.m.
