KG Financial reported second-quarter operating profit of 8.81 billion won ($6.16 million), up 17.76 percent from a year earlier, according to a regulatory filing Wednesday.

Revenue for the same period rose 10.8 percent to 62.24 billion won.

Net profit for the period came to 6.72 billion won on a preliminary basis, up 48.17 percent from a year earlier.
