Model-home exhibition to feature windows, flooring and kitchen products

Pet-friendly theme zone, consultation booths staffed by 40-plus specialists

Eco-certified products lead push to grow partial remodeling, B2C sales

LX Hausys is heading to one of South Korea's largest architecture and interior design trade fairs this week, targeting demand for partial home remodeling during the summer vacation season and the autumn interior peak.

The company announced Monday it will participate in the 2026 Korea Build Week, running Wednesday through Saturday at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

Korea Build Week is a construction, architecture and interior design trade fair that traces its roots to the Gyeonghyang Housing Fair, launched in 1986 and rebranded under the current name in 2019. This year's event will span the entire COEX complex, with roughly 700 companies and 2,000 booths.

LX Hausys will operate a model-home-style exhibition hall displaying key products — including windows, interior doors, flooring, wall panels and kitchen furniture — arranged to replicate an actual residential space. The company will also set up a pet-friendly interior theme zone featuring materials suited for households with animals, along with more than 20 consultation booths.

More than 40 interior specialists will be on hand throughout the exhibition to offer one-on-one consultations. The strategy targets not only customers planning full-scale renovations but also those looking to replace only specific areas — such as windows, flooring or a kitchen — without overhauling the entire home.

The kitchen and walk-in closet spaces will feature the built-in kitchen furniture line "Selection," fitted wardrobes and interior door products. The focus is on showing how individual items work together and how a finished space looks after installation, rather than displaying products in isolation.

LX Hausys will also exhibit its "ViewFrame" window system, which carries an energy efficiency rating of Grade 1 — the top tier — and features a bezel-less design that minimizes visible frame exposure along with a multi-chamber construction. The multi-chamber design divides the window frame's interior into several independent compartments to reduce heat transfer.

The company will also present its "Editon" flooring and wall panel line, which replicates the look of marble. Both ViewFrame windows and Editon flooring and wall panels were recently named among the 2026 Korea Green Products of the Year by the Korea Green Purchasing Network.

LX Hausys has been expanding its consumer-facing interior business by combining its core building materials — windows and flooring — with kitchen furniture, storage furniture and wall panels. The company operates large-format showrooms under the "LX Z:IN Flagship" banner nationwide while broadening direct consumer touchpoints through trade fairs and consultation events.

The company is particularly focused on capturing partial remodeling demand — repairs limited to specific rooms without a full relocation — in an interior market sensitive to fluctuations in housing transactions and move-in volumes. At this week's fair, LX Hausys plans to present products targeting eco-conscious buyers, energy efficiency and pet-owning households, offering options tailored to different consumer lifestyles.

"We have organized the exhibition hall so visitors can experience our popular products in a setting that feels like a real home and receive personalized advice from interior specialists," an LX Hausys official said. "We will continue to strengthen our push into the B2C interior market, leveraging differentiated products and direct consumer engagement."
