About 8.23 million foreign tourists visited Seoul in the first half of this year, a more than 20 percent increase from the same period last year, while their credit card spending in the city climbed more than 50 percent to 5.62 trillion won ($3.42 billion), the Seoul Metropolitan Government said Wednesday. "Both tourist numbers and spending in the first half of this year broke all-time records," a Seoul Metropolitan Government official said.
