Gyeongsan city in North Gyeongsang Province and the North Gyeongsang Province Development Corporation signed a 10 billion won ($6.82 million) investment MOU with MR Innovation Co. at Gyeongsan City Hall on Tuesday.

Under the agreement, MR Innovation plans to build a new factory on a 6,618-square-meter site within the Gyeongsan Cosmetics Specialized Complex, with total investment of 10 billion won.

Founded in 2011, MR Innovation has focused on functional cosmetics research and product development. The company has built strong market recognition through its flagship brand THESERA, which combines clinical treatment principles with professional skincare expertise to deliver differentiated skin care products.

"This investment will serve as a powerful catalyst for strengthening the competitiveness of the local cosmetics industry, attracting additional companies and expanding the industrial ecosystem," Gyeongsan Mayor Jo Hyeon-il said.
