PI Advanced Materials disclosed Tuesday that its second-quarter operating profit on a separate basis rose 42.1 percent from a year earlier to 22.98 billion won ($15.7 million).

Revenue for the same period grew 6.9 percent to 77.5 billion won.

Net profit for the period came to 17.47 billion won, a preliminary figure reflecting a 49.2 percent increase from a year earlier.
