Open to anyone 14 or older, regardless of carrier
Total prizes worth 10 million won in gift cards and points
SK Telecom announced Monday it will hold the "Everyone's Prompt" (Promp.T) contest as part of its "Good Change" campaign, inviting customers to share their own AI experiences.
Good Change is a campaign SK Telecom has been running on its newsroom since May to document the company's progress in AI transformation (AX) and customer experience innovation (CX).
The contest goes beyond publicizing the company's internal AX and CX initiatives — it is a participatory campaign in which customers share how they themselves have used AI in their daily lives.
The campaign has so far featured newsroom content highlighting employees' AX and CX practices alongside contributions from internal and external experts. The contest marks an expansion of the initiative to include customer participation.
The "Everyone's Prompt" contest was designed to show that AI is not a difficult or unfamiliar technology but an everyday tool anyone can use. Participants can submit their stories — describing how AI brought change to their daily lives or work, along with the original prompts that made it possible — through the application page on SK Telecom's newsroom.
Entries fall into two categories: "Life AX," for cases of solving everyday problems, and "Work AX," for cases of improving productivity at work or in study. The submission period runs from Monday through Aug. 10, and anyone aged 14 or older may enter regardless of their mobile carrier.
Results will be announced Aug. 20 on the SK Telecom newsroom site following judging by a panel of experts. Awards are divided into a grand prize (two winners), gold (four), silver (six) and a participation prize (about 400). Winners will receive a combined total of 10 million won ($6,810) in SK gift cards and Naver points.
A CX media art exhibition, also part of the Good Change campaign, is planned for August. SK Telecom will collect customer opinions on changes they have felt from the company and what they hope to see going forward through "Survey That Pays," an AI big data-based survey service. The collected data will be analyzed and displayed as a media art installation at T Tower in Euljiro.
"AI transformation and customer value innovation can lead to more meaningful change when pursued together with customers," said Choi Jong-bok, head of SK Telecom's Media Communications division. "We will continue to actively reflect the diverse experiences and voices of our customers in our services and content, and work to create better change alongside them."
