Hanshin Construction opened the model home for Changwon Hanshin The Hue Megacentum on Friday, kicking off pre-sales for the development.

The complex is being built through the Hoewon 2 zone housing redevelopment project in Hoewon 2-dong, Masanhoewon-gu, Changwon Special City, South Gyeongsang Province. It will comprise 2,016 units across 21 buildings ranging from three below-ground floors to a maximum of 27 above-ground floors, with exclusive use areas of 38 to 136 square meters.

Of the total, 1,139 units will be offered through general pre-sale.

The general pre-sale units break down by exclusive use area as follows: 16 units of 38㎡ Type A, 13 of 46㎡ Type A, 14 of 59㎡ Type A, 217 of 74㎡ Type A, 76 of 74㎡ Type B, 356 of 84㎡ Type A, 26 of 84㎡ Type B, 268 of 84㎡ Type C, 76 of 101㎡ Type A, 73 of 101㎡ Type B, 3 of 136㎡ Type A and 1 of 136㎡ Type B.

The complex sits near the 3·15 Boulevard and the Seo-Masan interchange, which connects to the Namhae First Expressway branch, making vehicle access convenient to central Changwon as well as to major cities including Gimhae and Busan.

The surrounding area already hosts apartment complexes from top-tier construction brands including Lotte Castle, Xi, Prugio and e-Convenient World. With Changwon Hanshin The Hue Megacentum set to be the final addition, the area is expected to form a brand-name residential town of roughly 6,500 units in total.

The complex is within walking distance of schools, with Hoewon Elementary School and Masan Dong Middle School — both well-regarded institutions in the area — located directly in front of the development. Gyobang Elementary School, Masan Girls' Middle School, and Masan Muhak Girls' Middle and High School are also nearby, as are Masanhoewon Library and the Hoewon 1-dong branch library.

Lifestyle infrastructure is equally strong. A Hanaro Mart sits just in front of the complex, and within a 2-kilometer radius residents will find traditional markets including Buk-Masan Jungang Market, Sanho Market and Masan Fish Market, along with Shinsegae department store (Masan branch), Lotte Mart (Yangdeok branch), and the recreational areas of Bonghwasan and Muhaksan.

The complex is also designed with broad market appeal. Buildings are oriented primarily to the south to maximize natural light, and the unit mix spans from compact layouts suited to one- and two-person households to larger, rarer floor plans.

Community amenities are unusually extensive for the region, featuring a sky lounge, swimming pool, multipurpose gymnasium, children's gym, indoor golf practice range, sauna, fitness center, group exercise room and cafeteria.

The apartment subscription schedule begins with special supply on Monday, followed by first-priority subscriptions on Tuesday and second-priority on Wednesday. Successful applicants will be announced Aug. 4, and contract signings will take place over three days from Aug. 18 to Aug. 20.

For the general supply, first-priority subscription is open to applicants aged 19 or older — or minor household heads — who reside in Changwon as of the announcement date, or in South Gyeongsang Province, Ulsan or Busan, provided they have held a housing subscription account for at least six months and meet the required deposit amounts by region and unit size.

A down payment of 5 percent applies, with a fixed first-contract payment of 10 million won ($6,750), and the full 60 percent interim payment is interest-free. There are no restrictions on resale, re-winning or mandatory residency periods. Full details on how to apply are available on the official website.

"Changwon Hanshin The Hue Megacentum is a new apartment complex finally being unveiled in the Hoewon 2 zone, long considered a prime location," a sales official said. "We expect strong interest from buyers given the high anticipation for it to become a landmark development."
