Doosan Bobcat posted second-quarter operating profit of 291.7 billion won ($197 million), up 42.9 percent from a year earlier, the company disclosed Thursday.

Revenue for the same period rose 11.2 percent to 2.45 trillion won.

Net profit for the period came in at 199.5 billion won, a preliminary figure reflecting a 63.9 percent increase.
