Samsung Electro-Mechanics disclosed Thursday that it has signed a multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) supply contract with a major global company.

The contract is valued at 295.12 billion won ($200 million), equivalent to 2.6 percent of the company's 2025 sales.

The contract runs from Jan. 1, 2027 through Dec. 31, 2027.

The company said it would not disclose the identity of the counterparty or other contract details, citing the need to protect business confidentiality.
