Hollywood actor Tom Holland is drawing attention for delivering heat-wave safety tips through the Korea Meteorological Administration ahead of the opening of "Spider-Man: Brand New Day."

The Korea Meteorological Administration posted Thursday on its official SNS accounts: "Spider-Man has appeared at the KMA?! Not AI — Caution," adding, "This is the real deal. Spider-Man actor Tom Holland has sent a special surprise message to the KMA."

In the video, Holland urged viewers to "pay attention to heat-wave safety tips from your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man," stressing: "First, please drink water frequently. Second, applying sunscreen properly is also very important."

He then suggested, "Finally, if you want to escape the heat, why not watch 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' in a cool theater?" and added, "Fans in Korea, let's meet at the theater."

The KMA produced the video as part of its heat-wave prevention "Happy Happy Campaign."

The agency also urged the public that when extreme heat with a daily maximum perceived temperature exceeding 38 degrees Celsius is forecast and a major heat-wave alert is issued, people should immediately stop all outdoor activities and work and seek shelter in the coolest indoor space available.

The agency added that "choosing to safely avoid the heat, rather than fighting it, is the truly heroic choice," and called on the public to "build a healthy and safe summer together with Tom Holland."

Meanwhile, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," starring Holland, opens in South Korea on July 29, ahead of its North America release date.

The first entry in the series in five years since "Spider-Man: No Way Home," the film follows Peter Parker (played by Holland) as he navigates a completely transformed life after being erased from the memories of those he loves.
