Hyundai Motor, Kia and Genesis will offer a free summer vehicle inspection service at service centers nationwide from July 27 to 31, the automakers announced Thursday.

The complimentary inspection covers seven components: coolant, engine and other fluids, brakes, battery, air-conditioning system, tire pressure and lighting.

Hyundai Motor and Genesis customers can visit any of 1,205 Blue Hands service centers nationwide and present a free inspection coupon to receive the service. Kia customers may visit any of 17 company-operated service centers or 747 AutoQ locations. Company-operated HiTech centers are excluded.

Hyundai Motor and Genesis customers can obtain coupons on a first-come, first-served basis through the "My Hyundai," "Hyundai Certified Pre-Owned" and "My Genesis" apps from July 20 to 22. Kia customers can download coupons through the "Kia" app from Thursday through Saturday.

"We prepared this free inspection service for the summer vacation season, when vehicles are driven long distances," a Hyundai Motor, Kia and Genesis spokesperson said. "We will continue to provide reliable vehicle services to ensure our customers drive safely and comfortably."

Meanwhile, Hyundai Motor, Kia and Genesis have been actively working to support safe driving, including offering a free Lunar New Year inspection at service centers nationwide last February.
