Shin Ji, a member of the group Koyote, said she was shocked by her body composition test results and has decided to start exercising.
A video titled "Shin Ji shocked by her InBody results" was posted Wednesday on the YouTube channel "Eotteo Sinji?!?" ("How Are You, Sinji?!?").
The video shows Shin Ji taking up exercise for her health.
"Today I'm going to try working out — something my husband has long wanted for me and that took a great deal of resolve on my part," she said. "My husband gave me personal training sessions as a gift, so I'm going to start consistently taking care of myself again."
Shin Ji had previously revealed that extreme stress caused her weight to drop to 42 kilograms, drawing concern from fans.
While exercising, she explained what prompted her decision. "The biggest thing was that my InBody reading came back unmeasurable," she said. "I thought I had the stamina and strength you need on stage, even without this kind of muscle. But when they said it was remarkable that I could even walk around, I figured things must be pretty serious."
She added that she was also working on her diet, saying she tries to have at least one protein shake every day.
Meanwhile, Shin Ji, born in 1981, married singer Moon Won, who is seven years her junior, last month.
