Keimyung Culture University held the "2026 Daegu Vocational High School Student Customized Employment Festival" at its training center on Friday.

Four Daegu universities — Keimyung Culture University, Keimyung University, Yeungnam University of Science and Technology and Youngjin College — jointly organized the event as part of the Ministry of Employment and Labor's tailored employment service project for high school students.

About 600 vocational high school students from the Daegu area took part.

Twenty leading local companies and related organizations participated, operating a total of 30 booths.

The fair offered a range of employment support programs, including on-site recruiting with direct access to company HR managers, job and hiring information consultations, guidance on tailored employment services for high school students, and promotion of youth employment policies.

Booths were divided into three zones: a corporate recruitment and promotional area, a policy information zone covering the tailored employment service and youth employment programs, and an events area.

Kim Jae-hyeon, director of Keimyung Culture University's University Job Plus Center, said the university would continue running programs in close cooperation with local universities, companies and related organizations to strengthen vocational high school students' employability and support their successful entry into the workforce.
