Jin Air has unveiled early-access perks ahead of its biggest airfare sale of the second half of the year, targeting both summer holiday travelers and those planning trips in early 2027 across 56 domestic and international routes.

The budget carrier said Wednesday it has opened a teaser page for "Jin Market," its flagship biannual airfare promotion held once in the first half of the year and once in the second.

This year's second-half Jin Market runs July 13–16, with travel valid from July 13 through March 27 next year. A total of 56 routes — domestic and international combined — are included, ranging from last-minute departures during the peak summer season to early-bird tickets for spring travel next year.

Airlines have been competing to capture international demand as the summer peak season and summer flight schedule get underway. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has confirmed this year's summer regular international schedule at up to 46 countries, 245 routes and 4,820 weekly flights.

Jin Air is offering fares discounted by up to 96 percent during Jin Market, and plans to deepen the effective savings for customers through additional discounts tied to payment methods and partner benefits.

Payment discounts will be available through Kakao Pay, Naver Pay, Samsung Card and Visa. Particularly on the third and fourth days of the sale — July 15 and 16 — customers who pay 200,000 won ($131) or more using a Visa card registered with Jin Air Pay, the carrier's own mobile payment service, will receive an instant 50,000-won discount.

Partner benefits are also on offer. New members will receive a 5,000-won international fare discount coupon and a beauty travel bag produced in collaboration with fashion and beauty magazine Allure Korea. Existing members who agree to receive marketing communications can also claim the beauty travel bag.

Customers booking through a tie-up with Monkey Travel, a Southeast Asia-focused travel agency, will receive coupons for up to 20 percent off travel products including golf packages, accommodation and tours. Those who book a flight during the Jin Market period will also receive 5,000 Monkey Travel points and a free 5 kg international checked-baggage coupon.

Using the 5 kg coupon on top of the standard 15 kg international checked-baggage allowance brings the total to 20 kg — a meaningful benefit for budget travelers who factor in baggage costs when booking low-cost carrier fares.

"Customers can once again enjoy our standard 15 kg free checked baggage with this Jin Market," the airline said. "We have significantly expanded partner benefits that customers can feel from the start of their trip all the way through their time at the destination, so we hope travelers will check out the early-access perks during the teaser period and prepare smartly for the second-half Jin Market."

Meanwhile, Jin Air has also been working to improve the in-flight experience, recently launching four new pre-order meal options: a plain fried chicken, a sweet and spicy seasoned chicken, a cheese-loaded combination pizza, and a spicy and tangy whelk bibim noodles.
