Lee Sol-i, wife of comedian Park Sung-kwang, has drawn fresh attention after recently dismissing divorce rumors and revealing that she and her husband have been taking separate summer vacations since last year.

On Tuesday, Lee held a question-and-answer session with her followers on social media.

When one user asked whether she was going on vacation with her husband, Lee said their travel styles differ considerably, so they prefer to each enjoy their own trips rather than compromise and leave either of them feeling shortchanged. "We tried it starting last summer, and the satisfaction level was higher than expected," she said, adding that the arrangement reflects mutual respect for each other's preferences.

On her summer vacation plans this year, Lee said she had nothing lined up immediately. "First, if my test results come back well, I'll plan something then," she said. "I'm thinking of grabbing a few books and wandering around for about two weeks with no set destination."

Lee's remarks drew particular attention coming on the heels of recent divorce rumors.

On June 30, Lee posted a video on social media in which she said, at age 39, there were parts of her past she wished she could erase. "There was a time when I spent nights trying to convince someone with different values," she said, adding that relationships where communication flows naturally without the need for persuasion are truly precious. The remarks prompted fans to worry that her marriage to Park Sung-kwang might be in trouble.

As the controversy grew, Lee clarified that she had concluded the video on a positive note — "that embracing those differences is what love is" — and denied the divorce rumors.

Lee married broadcaster Park Sung-kwang, who is seven years her senior, in 2020. The couple appeared together on the SBS variety program "Dongsang Imong 2 — You Are My Destiny," sharing glimpses of their daily life and winning a wide following. In April last year, Lee revealed she had been battling a women's cancer, drawing an outpouring of support.
