KATSEYE, the global girl group formed through a joint venture between HYBE and Geffen Records, is setting new milestones in the American pop market.

According to Billboard, the group's second EP "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS," released last June, landed at No. 128 on the Billboard 200 this week, marking its 53rd consecutive week on the main albums chart.

It is the first time in 21 years that a girl group album has remained on the chart for a full year without a single week off. The last girl group album to achieve such a run was "PCD," the debut record by The Pussycat Dolls, released in 2005.

Following in the footsteps of one of America's most celebrated pop acts, KATSEYE has signaled the revival of a mainstream girl group in a market that had long lacked one. The album's sustained popularity has carried over to the singles charts as well. The group has placed five songs on the Hot 100, demonstrating strong chart power. "Gabriela" led the charge earlier this year, climbing to No. 21, followed by "PINKY UP" (No. 28), "Internet Girl" (No. 29) and "Gnarly" (No. 82). Last month, the group teamed up with fellow HYBE girl groups Le Sserafim and ILLIT for the surprise collaboration single "ICONIC BY MISTAKE," which landed at No. 38 on the Hot 100 — the highest position for any K-pop girl group song on that chart this year.

KATSEYE's achievements extend beyond the charts. The group earned nominations in two categories at the 68th Grammy Awards earlier this year, including Best New Artist, and swept three awards at the American Music Awards in May, among them New Artist of the Year.

Performances at major global festivals — including Coachella, Lollapalooza and Governors Ball — have showcased the group's commanding live presence and helped fuel word of mouth, sending their ticket-selling power soaring. Their first North America and Europe tour, "THE WILDWORLD TOUR," spanning 27 cities across 10 countries for 31 total showings beginning in September, sold out every date within 48 hours of tickets going on sale, underscoring the wide demand they have built in those markets.
