Interactive pop-up runs at Seoul Madang through July 19
Dehumidifying air purifier, sleep mat featured together
Hyundai Department Store Pangyo branch also hosts showcase
Kyung Dong Navien announced Tuesday it will run a pop-up experience space called the "Navien Emergency Breath Mark Center" at Seoul Madang, in front of the Korea Press Center near Seoul City Hall station, through July 19.
The pop-up is designed as an urban retreat where office workers worn down by daily routines can try out the company's dehumidifying ventilation air purifier and its four-season sleep mat firsthand. The space operates from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily and requires no advance reservation.
The event is built around the concept of prescribing "clean air" and "quality sleep." Visitors move through a four-stage program — check-in, diagnosis, treatment and prescription — combining product trials with interactive activities.
At the check-in zone, visitors fill out a questionnaire and receive a participation ID card. The diagnosis zone offers two experiences — a "social-awareness test" and a "hidden feelings X-ray" — designed to identify the sources of everyday stress. In the treatment zone, visitors record moments of frustration from their daily lives and take part in air-themed mini-games. The prescription zone rewards visitors who complete the stamp tour with branded merchandise and a lucky-draw entry.
The standout feature is the "deep sleep intensive care room." Available primarily to those with advance reservations, the dedicated sleep room lets visitors spend 30 or 60 minutes experiencing the air environment created by the dehumidifying ventilation air purifier alongside the four-season sleep mat. An AI sleep solution built into the mat generates a personalized sleep research note so visitors can review their sleep condition.
Kyung Dong Navien is using the event to accelerate its push beyond its boiler-focused brand image into the broader lifestyle appliance market. The company is leading with products that combine dehumidification, ventilation and air purification, along with a sleep mat that regulates the sleeping environment, targeting summer demand for improved indoor air quality and sleep.
A concurrent pop-up is running at Hyundai Department Store's Pangyo branch during the same period. That space lets visitors try the dehumidifying ventilation air purifier, the dehumidifying ventilation air purifier Magic Plus and the dehumidifying ventilation air purifier Sleep Plus in a setting that resembles an actual home environment. A dedicated consultation corner is also available for product inquiries and purchase advice.
"We designed this pop-up so that people can pause amid their busy lives and restore their body and mind," a Kyung Dong Navien official said. "Visitors will be able to feel firsthand the comfortable environment created by our dehumidifying ventilation air purifier and four-season sleep mat."
