Student-centered reforms at the Incheon Global Campus (IGC) dormitory are producing measurable results, the operating foundation said.

The Incheon Global Campus Operating Foundation said its spring 2026 dormitory satisfaction survey recorded an overall score of 82.3 points, up 8 points — roughly 10.8 percent — from 74.3 points last year.

Participation in the survey also surged, with 421 students responding compared with 188 last year, an increase of 233. The foundation said the more than twofold rise in respondents reflects a significant increase in student interest and engagement in dormitory operations.

The area drawing the highest satisfaction was a clean and comfortable living environment, cited by 36.9 percent of respondents.

Reasonable enforcement of dormitory regulations followed at 26.7 percent, with friendly staff service at 15.7 percent and prompt facility maintenance at 13.4 percent also receiving positive marks.

Byeon Ju-yeong, chief executive of the Incheon Global Campus Operating Foundation, said the results reflected the combined efforts of students and dormitory staff. "Student participation and the management team's continuous drive for improvement have led to these strong outcomes," she said. "We will continue to reflect student feedback to raise service quality and do our utmost to build a world-class education and residential environment befitting the IGC 2030 vision."
