Dehumidifying ventilation purifier anchors hands-on exhibition
Sleep mat, 3D air hood featured in linked experience zones
Upcoming bathroom ventilation appliance 'Bascare' unveiled for first time
Kyung Dong Navien is expanding beyond its core heating and hot-water business into indoor air quality appliances, leveraging temperature-control technology from its boilers and water heaters to develop products covering ventilation, dehumidification, sleep environments and kitchen air management.
The company said it will run a pop-up store on the seventh floor of Hyundai Department Store Pangyo in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, from Monday through July 19. The event is the second of its kind, following a pop-up held at Hyundai Seoul in May.
The pop-up is built around a dehumidifying ventilation purifier and is designed to let visitors experience integrated air quality management across living spaces — including the living room, kitchen and bedroom. Products on display include the dehumidifying ventilation purifier, the Navien Sleep Mat Four Seasons and the Navien Magic 3D Air Hood. The upcoming bathroom ventilation appliance "Bascare" will also be previewed ahead of its launch.
The centerpiece is the dehumidifying ventilation purifier experience zone. The product combines ventilation, air purification and dehumidification in a single unit, applying dual dehumidification technology that pairs cooling-based and desiccant-based dehumidification to maintain optimal humidity without altering the indoor temperature — a function the company calls "constant-temperature dehumidification." Visitors can compare how perceived temperature shifts with humidity levels even when the actual temperature stays the same.
A separate zone pairs the dehumidifying ventilation purifier with the Navien Sleep Mat Four Seasons. The purifier expels carbon dioxide generated during sleep and manages humidity, while the sleep mat features an AI sleep mode that analyzes the user's breathing sounds and automatically adjusts the temperature. The mat works in both summer and winter and supports independent temperature settings for each side of the bed.
A stamp tour will run throughout the event. Customers who visit all experience zones and complete the assigned missions will receive random gifts — including an acrylic keyring, stickers, a biodegradable scrubber and a blanket, all featuring the company's official character KDZ. A dedicated corner for product inquiries and purchase consultations will also be available.
