Survey covers 834 rental customers of massage chairs and beds over past 3 years
High marks in design, expectation levels and perceived quality
Ceragem improves customer touchpoints through integrated VOC management and expanded experience stores
Ceragem said Monday it ranked first in the healthcare (massage appliance) manufacturing category of the 2026 National Customer Satisfaction Index (NCSI) survey, organized by the Korea Productivity Center. The company has topped the category every year since the survey first included it in 2023, making this its fourth consecutive No. 1 finish.
The NCSI is a customer satisfaction measurement model jointly developed by the Korea Productivity Center and the University of Michigan. It measures corporate customer satisfaction based on evaluations from consumers who have used a company's products and services in South Korea. Ceragem first claimed the top spot in 2023 and has held it every year since.
This year's survey covered 834 customers between the ages of 20 and 59 who had rented a massage chair or massage bed and used it for at least six months within the past three years. The company said it received high marks in categories including design, expectation levels and perceived quality.
Ceragem has strengthened its system for incorporating customer feedback into product and service improvements. The company installed "VOC media walls" throughout its offices to display customer voice (VOC) data, and built an integrated management system that tracks feedback from collection through processing and escalation. Customer input has also been reflected in some product changes, including modifications to remote controls.
The company has also maintained certifications related to consumer rights. Ceragem received the Consumer-Centered Management (CCM) certification — evaluated by the Korea Consumer Agency and granted by the Korea Fair Trade Commission — for the second consecutive time. The CCM system assesses whether a company's management activities are conducted from a consumer perspective and whether related practices are continuously improved.
"Topping the National Customer Satisfaction Index for four consecutive years reflects both our commitment to customer-centered management and the trust our customers place in our products and services," a Ceragem official said. "We will continue to put customer satisfaction first across every stage — from product development and manufacturing to after-sales service."
