Seoul's Jung-gu district, led by District Mayor Kim Gil-sung, is holding the "2026 Integrity Jung-gu Content Contest" to mark the launch of the 9th elected term and further embed a culture of integrity, proactive administration and open communication into everyday life.
Submissions will be accepted through July 30.
The contest covers three themes: integrity, proactive administration and communication. Entries on integrity should convey messages of hope for a corruption-free Jung-gu and reflect the values of anti-corruption frameworks such as the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act and the Act on Prevention of Conflicts of Interest. Works on proactive administration should highlight the district's commitment to bold governance, along with exemplary cases and inspiring stories. Entries on communication should express ideas that foster dialogue between residents and staff, or among staff members themselves.
Three categories are open for submission: slogans and catchphrases, short-form video and Instagram-style webtoons. Eligibility extends to Jung-gu residents, as well as people who work or attend school in the district, and Jung-gu district office employees. Applications are submitted via a Naver survey form; short-form video and webtoon entries must also be sent as file attachments by email.
A panel of internal and external experts will evaluate submissions on theme relevance, communicative impact, creativity and practical applicability. A total of 15 works will be selected — nine from the resident and commuter category and six from the staff category — with awards ranging from grand prize to honorable mention.
Winners will receive a certificate along with prize money ranging from a maximum of 500,000 won ($322) to a minimum of 100,000 won, awarded on a tiered basis. Alongside this, 20 participants will be selected by lottery to receive a 5,000-won mobile gift voucher.
Results will be announced in September on the Jung-gu district office website, with individual notifications sent to winners. Winning entries will be used in integrity education and anti-corruption campaign materials.
