Kim Ju-hyung slowed in the third round of the PGA Tour's John Deere Classic, which carries an $8.8 million purse.
Playing Saturday at TPC Deere Run (par 71) in Silvis, Illinois, Kim managed just two strokes under par, carding four birdies and two bogeys.
His three-round total of 9-under-par 204 dropped him from a tie for 19th after the second round to a tie for 27th, leaving him seven strokes off the co-lead heading into Sunday's final round.
Lucas Glover and Lee Hodges, both of the United States, share the lead at 16-under-par 197.
Kim alternated birdies and bogeys through the 14th hole without making net progress. He found his footing at the par-4 15th, sticking his approach to within 1.3 meters to convert a birdie, then closed out his round by draining a 1-meter birdie putt at the par-4 18th.
Im Sung-jae posted five birdies and two bogeys for a 3-under round, moving to a three-round total of 8-under-par 205 and a tie for 37th.
