Singer Jung Dong-won has shared a glimpse of his life on leave from the Marine Corps.
On Tuesday, Jung posted photos on his social media showing his day off.
In the photos, Jung holds a movie ticket and flashes a broad smile after watching a film at a movie theater. He cut a casual figure in a black shirt, a backward cap and sunglasses pushed up on his head.
Fans were particularly struck by how much more mature and commanding he looked since enlisting.
Jung entered the Marine Corps training center in February and is currently serving an 18-month term after completing basic military training. He had long said he would enlist in the Marine Corps after graduating high school, and he followed through on that commitment.
Jung made his debut in 2019 and rose to fame through TV Chosun's "Naeil-eun Miseuteo Teuroteu," a trot singing-competition show. He has since expanded his career beyond music, also promoting under the name JD1.
