Win follows National Service Award; company marks 25 consecutive years atop KS-SQI rankings

Samsung Electronics Service announced Thursday that it ranked first in all categories — home appliances, mobile phones and computers — in the 2026 Korea Service Quality Index (KS-SQI) survey.

The result follows the company's National Service Award for best home appliance after-sales service, received June 24, and further demonstrates its competitiveness across all electronics after-sales service segments. The company also extended its record as the first and only electronics after-sales service provider to top the KS-SQI rankings for 25 consecutive years.

In the computer after-sales service category, Samsung Electronics Service has held the top spot for 25 consecutive years without interruption, and for 23 consecutive years in the mobile phone category. In home appliance after-sales service, the company claimed first place for the 22nd time overall, extending its all-time record for the most wins.

The KS-SQI, administered by the Korean Standards Association, measures service quality by comprehensively evaluating service expertise, ease of use and social value based on assessments from customers who have used the services.

Samsung Electronics Service said it is focused on delivering differentiated service experiences through AI-driven innovation. The company was the first in the industry to introduce remote IT product consultation, and has since expanded the service to smartphones and home appliances, allowing customers to have their products inspected without an engineer visit.

Through its "Home Remote Management" service linked to SmartThings, AI analyzes product conditions and guides customers toward the best course of action. The company also uses an AI-based data analysis system in its service operations to assign the most suitable engineer based on regional characteristics, product type and repair category.

For mobile phone after-sales service, the company has expanded its service center reservation system nationwide so customers can schedule inspections at their preferred time. In remote and mountainous areas, it operates vehicles equipped with diagnostic tools, and engineers travel directly to outlying islands to provide on-site service. When disasters such as wildfires or floods occur, the company dispatches a special service team on an emergency basis to support product inspection and repair.

Samsung Electronics Service said it plans to continue expanding its digital customer support infrastructure to strengthen differentiated service experiences. Kim Young-ho, chief executive and executive vice president of Samsung Electronics Service, said he was grateful for the top rankings across all KS-SQI categories. "We will continue to do our best to ensure that Samsung Electronics products can be used conveniently anytime, anywhere," he said.
