Two men were found dead at an abandoned motel in Asan after a group of middle school students who had gone there for a thrill-seeking experience called police. A woman found collapsed near the bodies was still breathing and was taken to a hospital.

According to police, a report came in at around 1:43 p.m. Tuesday that three people had been found collapsed inside an abandoned motel in Asan. The students, including a middle schooler identified only as A, had learned about the location through social media, where the derelict motel was described as a popular spot for scare-seeking visitors.

Officers who responded to the scene confirmed that two men — one in his 30s and one in his 40s — were already dead. A woman in her 20s found with them was breathing and was transported to a nearby hospital.

Police are conducting a forensic examination of the scene to determine the exact circumstances of the deaths.

A similar incident occurred on June 14, when four university students visiting an abandoned resort in Chungju, North Chungcheong Province, for a thrill-seeking excursion discovered the body of a man in his 30s and reported it to police.
