GS Engineering & Construction announced Tuesday that it received a top rating for the fourth consecutive year in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's "2026 Mutual Cooperation Evaluation Among Construction Contractors," scoring 95 points or above. The company had earlier earned a top rating for five consecutive years in the co-prosperity index evaluation conducted by the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership.

The mutual cooperation evaluation is a system established under Article 48 of the Framework Act on the Construction Industry to foster close cooperative relationships among construction contractors and promote balanced development of the construction sector and efficient project execution. The assessment reflects joint contracting and subcontracting performance with partner companies, partner company development, and creditworthiness.

Construction companies that receive a top rating earn institutional incentives that strengthen their competitiveness in public project bidding — including bonus points in the Public Procurement Service's pre-qualification screening for public tenders and reductions in penalty points under the Framework Act on the Construction Industry.

The achievement reflects GS Engineering & Construction's sustained efforts to build a co-prosperity ecosystem that goes beyond one-time support, operating a range of programs to help partner companies grow on a stable, long-term basis.

Meanwhile, GS Engineering & Construction runs its own co-prosperity initiative called the Great Partnership Package to promote shared growth with partner companies. The program is a comprehensive support system comprising four areas: establishing compliance management and fair trade practices, providing financial and managerial support, strengthening partner companies' competitiveness, and enhancing horizontal communication.
