Mask sales up 57%; cooling sleeves and arm covers also see strong demand
Xexymix said an analysis of its June golf UV accessory sales data showed volume rose 38 percent from a year earlier and 60 percent from May.
Demand has grown steadily as an earlier-than-usual heat wave and intense ultraviolet radiation persist. Mask sales climbed 57 percent year-on-year, led by products combining UPF50+ sun protection with cooling properties.
The flagship UV Shield Airfit Cooling Open Mask posted a 144 percent year-on-year sales increase, cementing its status as a go-to summer accessory. Its open-style design wraps broadly around the face and neck to shield skin from strong sunlight, and a lightweight, contact-cooling fabric keeps the wearer comfortable throughout a round.
A company official said Xexymix will "continue to expand functional products suited to the season and on-course conditions to accelerate our push into the summer golf market."
