First MOU for a Porsche-dedicated card in South Korea
Samsung Card announced Tuesday that it has signed a strategic MOU with Porsche Korea, marking the first time Porsche has entered into such an agreement in South Korea for the launch of a dedicated co-branded card.
The signing ceremony was held at Porsche Studio Cheongdam and attended by Samsung Card President Kim I-tae, Porsche Korea CEO Mathias Busse, and other senior officials from both companies.
The two companies plan to launch a Porsche-dedicated co-branded card in the third quarter of this year. The card is expected to include after-sales service benefits as well as a range of premium perks tailored to the lifestyles of Porsche customers.
Samsung Card and Porsche Korea also plan to leverage their respective brand and marketing capabilities for joint marketing initiatives and broader collaboration across online and offline channels.
Both companies expect the partnership to strengthen business synergies by expanding their premium customer base and enhancing the overall user experience.
"Through our strategic partnership with Porsche Korea, we expect to offer differentiated premium services to Porsche customers," a Samsung Card official said. "We plan to carry out a variety of activities under this agreement."
