Daegu Hanny University's University Job Plus Center announced Tuesday that it recently partnered with the Gyeongsan Employment and Welfare Plus Center, an arm of the Daegu Regional Employment and Labor Office, to run the second round of its "2026 Open the Door to Employment! DHU Open Career and Job Consulting" program for unemployed graduates and local youth.

Twenty-one unemployed graduates and young job seekers from the Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province area took part in the program, which offered stress assessments, AI mock interviews, one-on-one tailored job consulting — covering application documents and interview coaching — and referrals to graduate-specific programs aimed at strengthening employment readiness.

The program was also linked to the Ministry of Employment and Labor's graduate-specialized program, establishing a support framework that allows participants to receive ongoing follow-up care both after securing employment and after starting work.

"We will continue to actively identify unemployed graduates and local youth, and work closely with the Ministry of Employment and Labor, regional employment centers and other relevant agencies to steadily expand our tailored job support services so that young people can successfully land the jobs they want," a center official said.
