North Gyeongsang Province announced Tuesday it is recruiting 10 companies to move into the North Gyeongsang Energy Industry Convergence Complex's comprehensive support center, as part of efforts to nurture businesses that will lead the future energy sector.

The recruitment notice will be posted Wednesday, with applications accepted from July 13 to July 20 until 6 p.m.

Applicants must visit the support center in person at 20 Maejeong Nonggong 1-gil, Yeongdeok-eup, Yeongdeok-gun to submit their applications. Further details are available in the public notice posted on the North Gyeongsang Province website.

Eligible applicants are companies, institutions or organizations engaged in research and development activities classified under code M70 of the Korea Standard Industrial Classification. Those that also operate in energy-related sectors will receive additional points during the evaluation process.

The comprehensive support center serves as a key hub for research and development, business assistance, and specialized personnel training for the regional energy industry. It is equipped with office space for tenant companies, as well as education and training facilities, meeting rooms and an auditorium.

Kim Mi-gyeong, director of the North Gyeongsang Province Energy Industry Bureau, said the province would continue to support the commercialization of specialized companies and research by expert institutions centered on the Yeongdeok Energy Industry Convergence Complex, with the aim of strengthening the competitiveness of energy businesses.
