Lotte Global Logistics announced Tuesday that it has published its 2025 Sustainability Report, detailing the company's environmental, social and governance performance last year and its plans going forward.

The report, built around the vision of "delivering sustainable value to future generations," covers ESG activities and achievements carried out throughout 2025. It is organized into two parts: "ESG Approach," which introduces the company's ESG management framework and key results, and "ESG Impact," which outlines initiatives across the environmental, social and governance categories.

On the environmental front, the report highlights the launch of "Recop," an eco-friendly packaging solution, alongside what the company describes as industry-leading renewable energy transition efforts, employee-driven green campaigns and biodiversity management activities.

The social section emphasizes workplace accident prevention through AI and digital transformation technologies. Initiatives covered include a smart evacuation system, a humanoid robot and exoskeleton suit pilot project, as well as new ESG activities such as a "Core Client Day" event to boost customer satisfaction, a family invitation day for employees and the company's certification under a community contribution recognition program.

The report was prepared in accordance with disclosure standards set by the International Sustainability Standards Board and underwent third-party verification to strengthen its objectivity and credibility.

Particularly notable is the first-ever public disclosure of the company's Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions — those generated across its supply chain — which the company said enhances transparency in its environmental management.

"We publish the sustainability report to transparently share our ESG management philosophy and achievements, thereby enhancing corporate value," a Lotte Global Logistics official said. "We will continue to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders and actively reflect their input in our ESG management activities."

Meanwhile, Lotte Global Logistics has been carrying out a range of corporate social responsibility activities. In June, it partnered with the Korea Child Care Promotion Institute and resource-recycling company Elephant Factory on a campaign to collect unused plastic toys, recycle them and donate the proceeds to underprivileged children.
