Kim Min-hyung, 32, a former television announcer and executive director of Hoban Group's communications division, volunteered at Seoul National Cemetery to mark the anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War.

On Wednesday, Kim posted several photos on Instagram alongside a message reflecting on the meaning of the day. "I was reminded once again that even the familiar routines of daily life, the ordinary days we live, are possible because of someone's sacrifice," she wrote.

The photos show Kim visiting the cemetery alongside Kim Dae-heon, Hoban Group's president and chief corporate officer, to commemorate the 76th anniversary of the start of the Korean War.

Kim joined Hoban Group new employees at the cemetery that day to clean grave sites.

"A June of volunteering together with new employees. I will not forget," she wrote, adding hashtags for Seoul National Cemetery, the Month of Patriots and Veterans, Hoban Group and volunteer activities.

Born in 1993, Kim worked as a contract announcer at MBC before joining SBS in 2018, where she hosted programs including "SBS 8 News," "Sports Tonight" and "Curious Story Y." She left SBS in November 2020 and in December of that year married Kim Dae-heon, the eldest son of Hoban Group chairman Kim Sang-yeol.

Hoban Group appointed Kim executive director of its communications division in 2024, where she oversees ESG (environmental, social and governance) and corporate social responsibility work within the division's shared-growth team. She and Kim Dae-heon have a son and a daughter.
