The Gunwi Culture and Tourism Foundation (chairman Kim Jin-yeol) announced Friday that it will open the 2026 Haeryong Water Park, the signature summer attraction at Samguk Yusa Theme Park, on July 4.
Running through Aug. 23, the water park will offer free access to water slides and a range of facilities — including shower rooms, changing rooms and shade structures — designed as a family-friendly summer destination.
This year's opening will be accompanied by a special Naver Shopping LIVE event, weekend performances and events, and a drone soccer experience where visitors can try their hand as drone pilots, among other activities.
Visitors can also use other key facilities within the theme park, including the Ainuri Kids Park and the Haeryong Slide, making it easy to fill an entire day with activities.
Further details are available on the Samguk Yusa Theme Park's official website and social media channels.
"This year, we focused on enhancing visitor satisfaction by linking water activities, performances and hands-on experiences," a foundation official said. "We will run the Haeryong Water Park as a flagship attraction that adds to the appeal of Gunwi's summer tourism."
