"My Little One," the Channel A parenting show that spent six years sharing in the child-rearing concerns of parents across South Korea, will air its final episode Friday.

The farewell broadcast brings back special families for a reunion with child development expert Oh Eun-young, who guided the transformations of countless children featured on the show over the years.

Among the returning guests are the international couple from episode 202, who once struggled with the isolation of solo parenting and depression. Their dramatically changed daily life will be revealed, with the father stepping up to take on child-rearing duties while the mother takes her first steps back into society.

Also featured are updates on the single father from episode 211, who had pressured his child over training and career ambitions; the child from episode 224, who exhibited a tic of swallowing air; and the Canadian mother from episode 57, who faced difficulties due to a language barrier.

In a surprise appearance, a child from the show's early days who had selective mutism — and drew wide support from viewers — returns to the screen. Once unable to speak freely, that child has grown into a teenager about to enter middle school, now playing handball and serving as a class vice president. The episode also shows the child confidently placing an order at a family meal, a moment that underscores how far they have come.

The family of a child whose mother was killed in a drunk-driving accident — a story that drew widespread attention when it first aired — also appears in the finale.

That child, now 19, shares an update on preparing for a written driver's license exam. Having grown up leaning on their father for support, the young adult is now contemplating living independently and is shown gradually rediscovering their smile.

"My Little One" first aired in May 2020, bringing together veteran parenting experts to coach parents on child-rearing methods reflecting the latest trends. The series finale airs Friday at 9 p.m.
