Zelensky posts on X on Thursday
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Thursday on X, formerly Twitter, that Ukrainian forces had struck Russian oil facilities.
According to Zelensky's post, the strikes hit an oil storage facility in the Krasnodar region, 300 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, and two oil refineries in the Ufa region, 1,500 kilometers away.
Zelensky also released footage showing a Russian oil storage site engulfed in flames. "Russia should think about real diplomacy," he said.
Russia has faced disruptions to its oil supply in recent weeks as Ukrainian forces have intensified attacks on energy infrastructure.
