Company earns top industry scores for service value and customer satisfaction; leads after-sales innovation with differentiated offerings
Samsung Electronics Service has won the grand prize in the home appliance after-sales service category at the 2026 National Service Award, presented by the Institute for Industrial Policy Studies.
The company said Wednesday it had been named the top home appliance after-sales service provider for the second consecutive year, earning high marks for service value and customer satisfaction.
The National Service Award is sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, among others. An operating committee of industry experts and academic evaluators selects and honors companies that lead in customer satisfaction.
Samsung Electronics Service was recognized for driving development of the after-sales service industry through differentiated offerings tailored to shifting customer needs.
Its "Blue Pass" service, introduced for customers who wish to subscribe to home appliance care, provides customized management features including AI pre-care alerts and a "One More" service.
The AI pre-care alert function analyzes the condition of products connected to SmartThings using AI and notifies customers when anomalies are detected. Dedicated consultants support customers through the entire process, from explaining AI diagnostic results to scheduling on-site service visits.
Samsung Electronics Service has expanded the range of products and diagnostic categories covered, now offering pre-care alerts for 11 product types — including air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines and robot vacuum cleaners — across 24 symptom categories.
The "One More" service allows engineers, when making a subscription visit, to perform a complimentary inspection of one additional Samsung Electronics product the customer owns, such as an air conditioner, washing machine or TV.
Through its "Samsung Care Plus Home Appliance/TV" service, the company also helps customers keep their Samsung home appliances running at optimal performance and condition.
Customers seeking home appliance care can conveniently access a range of services, including comprehensive product inspections, filter replacements and professional cleaning.
Lee Cheol-gu, executive vice president and head of the CS support division at Samsung Electronics Service, said the company was "sincerely grateful to customers for their support in earning this recognition for two consecutive years" and pledged to "continue driving service innovation to deliver differentiated experiences."
