DGIST visited Daegu Veterans Hospital on June 22 to mark Patriots and Veterans Month, delivering consolation funds and gifts to veterans and their families.

DGIST President Lee Geon-woo and the university's administrative director were among those who attended.

As a public institution committed to growing alongside the local community, DGIST has continued to pursue a range of social contribution activities aimed at honoring veterans, promoting a culture of patriotism and fulfilling its social responsibilities through community partnership.

"I extend my deepest gratitude and respect to our veterans and their families," Lee said. "We will continue to remember their sacrifice and dedication to the nation, and faithfully carry out our social responsibilities as a public institution through community-oriented activities."
