A man in his 30s who was seen wandering the streets of Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, while allegedly under the influence of methamphetamine has been arrested.

The Suwon Gwonseon Police Station arrested the man, identified only by the surname initial A, at around 10:30 a.m. Monday on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act. A rapid drug test conducted after his arrest returned a positive result for methamphetamine, indicating he likely used the drug within the past five days.

Police identified the suspect after a citizen posted a video of him on social media, then analyzed closed-circuit television footage in the area. The video showed the man standing with his torso bent at an abnormal angle — a posture widely described online as a "zombie pose."

The footage was filmed in the Gwonseon-gu area of Suwon, near several elementary and middle schools. The suspect was reportedly standing next to a bus stop used by students. Police plan to investigate how he obtained the drugs.
